Why is it that the good die young. My opinion... they are created to be inspiration for the rest of us. They are made of courage, strength, passion and love to teach all of us how to live. They are born with beautiful souls, it's not a horrible fate that they are destined to die early it's a beautiful gift to touch so many lives with their courage in such a short amount of time. I am not saying death is not ugly, brutal, painful and totally unfair. I am just saying the people that die early seem to always be such incredible humans especially this little girl. Avery is 11 and has been diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. The most common genetic fatal disease in Canada. To put it bluntly she will drown in her lungs because her body has a salt water imbalance and what should be slippery mucus is sticky mucus clogging the airways. It clogs everything including the insulin to her pancreas causing her to be diabetic now as well. She will hopefully one day get a lung transplant but living over 50 will be a miracle. She can try having children but it will drastically diminish her health. But would I have known that if her mother hadn't of told me... No, because this little girl is wise among her years, she is powerful. Her laughter and joy, contagious. I was in awe of her the entire session. She will never be forgotten, this world needs more people that view life the way she does. It was an honour to meet her and her family.
And these two together... they love each other and pretend not to (of course like all siblings). Andrew is fiercely protective of his big sister, he wants to be an artist who runs a tea shop and Avery wants to be an interior designer and artist with cats. I hope all their dreams come true. I just loved these two <3
